„we are one“ ist ein Monolog, der aus einem Dialog zwischen zwei Beziehungspartnern besteht. Die Künstlerin wechselt zwischen beiden Rollen hin und her. Der Dialog beginnt mit dem Satz „ich liebe Dich“ , darauf wird der Ausruf „Du lügst“ entgegnet. Damit ist die Richtung der Unterhaltung vorgegeben, die sich immer weiter zuspitzt.
